Are You Noticing the Signs?

Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to have all the answers, make the right decisions, and know exactly where we're headed.

In this episode of the Inspired Caring Podcast, I talk about the little signs that can reassure us we're on the right track. For me, those signs have often come in the form of little yellow butterflies, but yours may look completely different. Maybe it's a song, a certain animal, a meaningful coincidence, or simply a moment that brings you an unexpected sense of peace.

✨ A Quote to Sit With

Having something that gives you a sense of centered reassurance can be incredibly meaningful. You don't have to explain it to anyone else or even talk about it publicly. Sometimes a private reminder that you're supported and that you're going to be okay is exactly what you need to keep moving forward.

🧭 A Helpful Resource

Create your own "sign."

If you don't already have something that brings you comfort, choose something meaningful to you. It could be a particular flower, animal, color, song, or symbol.

Then start noticing it.

As I share in this episode, what we focus on tends to expand. When we begin looking for something, we often start seeing it everywhere. Let that become a gentle practice of noticing the moments that bring you reassurance, peace, and joy.

Caregiving can feel heavy, especially when we're carrying big decisions and uncertain outcomes. Having something that brings you back to a sense of peace can help you feel grounded when life feels overwhelming.

You don't have to know exactly how everything will unfold. Sometimes you can simply pause, breathe, notice the little things, and remind yourself that you're supported. Give yourself permission to lighten up and take some of the pressure off your shoulders.
